This film tells the story of how Quebec is making big changes to its Deposit Return System. The updated program expands the scope to include all beverages, increases the refund value from $0.05 to $0.10, and introduces a “hybrid system” with high-volume return centers and retail return points. These changes truly work, increasing the amount of beverage containers being recycled, instead of ending up in our nature.
